Jockey Club Active Kids Programme – Inclusive Sports Ambassador Award Presentation Ceremony

On 27 June 2026, our school participated in the "Jockey Club Active Kids Programme – Inclusive Sports Ambassador Award Presentation Ceremony". Sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and organized in collaboration with the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the programme aligns with our initial goal of guiding students to participate: to support students with special educational needs and disabilities in actively engaging in physical activities, thereby enhancing students’ physical and mental well-being, improving their quality of life, and building an active and inclusive society. At the ceremony, the organiser highly commended the school's achievements in actively promoting inclusive sports. Notably, Chow Ka Him from Class 12B and Zhan Tin Yau from Class 10B delivered outstanding performances and were officially appointed as "Jockey Club Active Kids Programme Inclusive Sports Ambassadors". Through this experience, the two students not only gained a profound sense of achievement from serving the community but also deepened their understanding of social inclusion and a culture of care through meaningful exchanges with various sectors. Guided by the dedicated mentorship of our teachers and driven by the active participation of our students, this initiative has yielded fruitful results. Looking ahead, the school aims to continuously encourage more students to participate in similar public welfare and sports initiatives. This will allow them to strengthen their physical well-being and practice compassion in a joyful atmosphere, working hand in hand to contribute their youthful energy toward building a more vibrant, warm, and inclusive society.
