Nursing Care Services
Our Objectives
- To provide continuous nursing assessments for students to ensure their healthy development.
- To implement comprehensive infection control measures that minimize the risk of disease transmission and viral outbreaks.
- To ensure students receive timely and appropriate vaccinations.
- To promote health education in school. To increase awareness and concern for health among students, parents and teaching staff.
- To provide medical knowledge and training for teaching staff. To support a healthier school environment.
Scope of Services
1. Student Health and Care
1.1 Provide appropriate care for students who are injured or unwell. Minimizing problems and injuries caused by illness or injury.
1.2 To coordinate comprehensive student health services, including dental care, preventive vaccinations, and flu vaccinations.
2. Medication Dispensing
2.1 Implement an electronic medication system for dispensing medications, ensuring that students receive their prescribed medications regularly, as well as any necessary medications when needed.
3. Lunch Monitoring
3.1 To oversee the quality of students' lunch boxes, ensuring compliance with the Department of Health's “Nutritional Guidelines for Student Lunches,”and establishing a comprehensive healthy eating policy across the school.
4. Health Education and Promotion
4.1 To collaborate with community organizations to conduct health activities and parent workshops, enhancing health awareness among parents and students.
4.2 To distribute health information leaflets to students and parents monthly and promote health messages through campus broadcasts based on relevant health topics.
5. Disease Prevention
5.1 Implementing the Education Bureau's " Guidelines for Preventing Infectious Diseases in Schools”to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
