Educational Psychology Services

The school's educational psychologist is available on campus 2–3 days a week to provide assessments, referrals, and support for students through individual and group counseling. These services focus on behavior, learning, and personal development.

 

The educational psychologist also works closely with teachers and parents, offering guidance on managing student behavior and providing professional advice on curriculum design and teaching methods.

Service Areas

1. Assessment Services

Conduct intellectual and psychological assessments for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
 

2. Case Work

Follow up on students' emotional and behavioral issues while addressing their diverse learning needs. Social workers participate in case meetings to discuss appropriate teaching strategies with teachers, tailored to the individual learning situations of students.

 

3. Consultation Services

Provide professional advice to mainstream schools, non-governmental organizations, and government departments regarding children with special educational needs. Offer support and consultation services to schools in counseling students with special educational needs.

 

4. Research Work

Conduct research and develop identification and assessment tools, while participating in schoolbased educational research projects.

 

5. Referral Services

Refer parents requiring family counseling or students in need of psychiatric follow-ups to appropriate professionals or external organizations for further support.
