Professional Support

Social Work Services

The school is supported by three full-time school social workers. Each student is assigned a dedicated social worker to address their adaptation, behavior, emotional well-being, family care, graduation pathways, and welfare matters, ensuring comprehensive care. Social workers also organize various group activities and student programs, while actively engaging in parent support initiatives.

The service adopts a prevention, development, and crisis intervention model to meet the needs of students and their families, both during their time at school and in the early stages after graduation.

Service Recipients

All students at the school and parents of the students.

Service Areas

1. Case Work

Assist new students in adapting to school life; follow up on students' emotional and behavioral issues; provide assessments for accommodation needs, refer students in need for vocational and intelligence assessments, and work with students and parents to establish graduation preparation and pathway plans, as well as assist in handling related application procedures.

2.Group Work

Organize various preventive and developmental groups, including personal growth, social skills, emotional management, and sex education groups.

3. Parent Support

Organize thematic seminars, visits to social services, parent volunteer programs, and parent support groups. This year, the focus is on implementing the "Parent Academy" reward program to encourage parents to participate in school-organized workshops, seminars, and groups, combining theory with practical application.

By increasing parental involvement, the program aims to enhance the spirit of mutual care and support among parents. Individual counseling is also provided for parents in need, with referrals arranged as necessary.

Social workers will serve as ex-officio members of the Parent-Teacher Association, acting as a bridge to promote collaboration between parents and the school.

4. Community Education

To promote social integration and encourage students to contribute to society through community service, social workers collaborate annually with external organizations and groups such as the Community Youth Club to organize activities. For example, in the Community Youth Club, students take on a self-governance role by forming an executive committee to plan and manage activities independently.

5. Curriculum Support

Social workers maintain close collaboration with various administrative departments within the school. For example, they participate in the design and teaching of Moral Education curricula, coordinate student enrollment in Applied Learning adaptation courses, and arrange work experience internships and vocational course experiences for senior secondary students.
