Sister School Scheme - Kaiping Municipal Historical and Cultural Exchange Tour 2025/26
From 12 to 14 November 2025, our school organized a three-day, two-night “Sister School Scheme – Kaiping Historical and Cultural Exchange Tour 2025/26”. Having established a long-standing sister-school relationship with Kaiping Special Education School, we were delighted to visit our partner school once again. The trip facilitated in-depth exchange and collaboration, promoted mutual cultural learning between the two regions, jointly improved the quality of special education, and further strengthened the friendly ties between our sister schools in Mainland China and Hong Kong. In addition to inter-school activities, the itinerary included visits to various historical and cultural sites, such as Chikan Ancient Town, Kaiping Baihe Town, Fengcai Hall, Jiangmen Wuyi Museum of Overseas Chinese, and Xinhui Chenpi Village. By exploring the stories of early overseas Chinese who ventured to Nanyang (Southeast Asia) to make a living, and understanding the profound significance of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ tradition of “burial in one’s ancestral homeland”, students enhanced their sense of national identity and enriched their historical and cultural literacy.
