Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country Joint School National Education Activities Gala

On June 26, 2026, our school proudly participated in the "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country" Joint School National Education Activities Gala, grandly organized by the Education Bureau to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. This large-scale gala aimed to comprehensively showcase the fruitful achievements of the "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country" series of activities throughout this school year. The event attracted around 2,000 representatives of school sponsoring bodies, members of school councils and principals' associations, school leaders, and representatives from the Committee on Home-School Co-operation, who gathered to witness the moving moment of national education taking root and blossoming across school campuses. Our students, in collaboration with the TWGHs Joint-school Primary School Martial Arts Team and the Fung Ting Chinese Music Ensemble, delivered a captivating performance, jointly presenting a magnificent audio-visual feast titled "The Heroic Splendor of Chinese Music and Martial Arts." On stage, the melodious yet stirring rhythms of traditional Chinese music blended seamlessly with the powerful, vigorous movements of martial arts, weaving a thrilling and soul-stirring momentum. The TWGHs youths poured their sweat and passion into the performance, demonstrating a heroic posture that perfectly combined strength and grace. Their performance harmonized cultural inheritance with youthful vitality, offering the most sincere and profound tribute to our motherland and winning enthusiastic, thunderous applause from all the guests. This invaluable and grand stage not only provided a comprehensive showcase of our students' artistic and athletic talents, as well as their perseverance, but also deepened their identification with fine traditional Chinese culture through the process of cross-school collaboration and rehearsals, further inspiring their cultural pride and a sense of national belonging. Looking ahead, our school will continue to uphold the spirit of "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country," forging ahead with determination to contribute our strength to nurturing the next generation with both national pride and a global perspective.
